Why DocuAgree Is $9/Month Flat — No Per-Seat Pricing
Per-seat pricing makes sense for a tool built around a large team where cost should scale with headcount. Most people sending agreements for e-signature aren't that — they're one person, or a couple, running a business. DocuAgree charges $9/month per account, not per person, because the account is usually the right unit to price against.

Where per-seat pricing genuinely makes sense
To be fair to the model: if a business really does have ten people who each need their own login, sending their own documents, tracking their own pipeline — pricing that scales with that headcount isn't unreasonable. The cost and the usage grow together. That's a real, legitimate case for per-seat pricing, and it's not the case DocuAgree is built around.
Where it doesn't
The much more common case, especially for freelancers, consultants, and small businesses, is one person managing the account and sending the documents. Per-seat pricing in that situation isn't buying anything — there's only one seat in use — it's just the vendor's default billing unit applied to a business that doesn't actually have multiple users. A flat account price matches what's actually being used.
What this means in practice
Signers and viewers are always free on DocuAgree, no matter how many people need to review or sign a document — a client, their lawyer, a co-signer, whoever. The $9/month only reflects the one account sending documents, which is the thing that's actually true for most of the businesses this is built for.
The honest trade-off
The flip side is real: DocuAgree doesn't support multiple people logging into one account today. If a business genuinely needs several people with their own separate logins under one umbrella, that's not something flat per-account pricing can paper over — it's a real gap, and one of the per-seat tools above is the more honest fit for that specific need.
