DocuAgree vs. Qwilr: Which Should You Use?
Qwilr turns a proposal into an interactive web page — embedded video, forms, and built-in payments — at a per-seat price that's among the highest in this category, and its higher tiers require buying a minimum number of seats whether you need them or not. DocuAgree is a flatter, simpler alternative for agreements that don't need the interactive-page treatment.
Pricing, side by side

|---|---|---|
| Price | $9/month, one plan | $35–$75+/user/month |
| Pricing model | Flat, per account | Per-seat, tiered |
| Free tier | First document free, no card | Trial only, no standing free plan |
| Minimum seats | None | 5 (Growth), 10 (Scale) |
| Document limit | None | 40–600/month depending on tier |
| Cancel policy | Pause or cancel anytime | No pause option published |
Where Qwilr genuinely wins
- Interactive, web-native proposals. Embedded video, Google Slides, maps, and dynamic pricing tables inside a page that feels like a website rather than a document — a real, distinct format DocuAgree doesn't attempt to replicate.
- Built-in payments. QwilrPay lets a prospect pay a deposit or invoice directly from the same page they're reviewing, with card, ACH, and wallet support.
- Page-level analytics going well beyond "was it opened" — which sections got attention, for how long, and by whom on multi-viewer deals.
Where DocuAgree genuinely wins
- No minimum seat purchase. Qwilr's Growth and Scale tiers require buying at least 5 or 10 seats respectively, regardless of how many people actually use them. DocuAgree has no seats to buy in the first place.
- Far lower price for straightforward signing. $9/month flat versus $35–75+ per user/month — a large gap if you need an agreement signed, not an interactive sales page built.
- No document ceiling to track. Even Qwilr's cheapest tier caps free documents per month; DocuAgree doesn't count documents against your bill at all.
What DocuAgree doesn't do (yet)
Qwilr's actual product — interactive web pages with embedded media and payments — is a different format than DocuAgree builds. If what you need is a rich, browsable proposal experience rather than a document to review and sign, Qwilr does something DocuAgree isn't trying to.
Who should pick which
Pick Qwilr if an interactive, media-rich proposal page with built-in payment collection is genuinely the format you need, and the per-seat price fits your deal sizes.
Pick DocuAgree if you need an agreement built, sent, and signed — without paying per seat or buying seats you won't use.
Pricing above reflects Qwilr's published plans as of September 2026 — vendor pricing changes, so confirm current numbers directly on their site before deciding.
